Our mission at Twelve Corners School Age is to provide families with quality child care. We promote a safe, nurturing environment for young children to develop a positive self image and to grow through a variety of social, emotional, physical and intellectual experiences. At Twelve Corners Day Care your child's happiness and well being along with your peace of mind are our top priority.
Twelve Corners Daycare is licensed through New York State and we meet
the standards set forth by the Department of Social Services.
Our hours of operation are 6:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
We have a 900 square foot muscle room with a padded floor, balls and
climbers for indoor large motor play.
We have a large fenced in playground divided into three areas to meet
the needs of different age groups.
Our unique classroom set-up promotes individualized care.
There are bathrooms/changing tables in each classroom.
Diapers and wipes are provided.
We have a security system that helps to ensure the safety of the children.
Our program content is planned each month by the teachers and their supervisors in line with the developmental level of each group. A small group size enables teachers to the teachers to tailor the lessons to their classroom environment and the children's interests.
The daily routine includes:
Fine motor activities such as coloring, puzzles, small blocks, pasting, cutting and
cooking projects
Large motor activities: play in the gym and outdoors
when weather permits
Language development through stories, books, music,
conversation, dramatic play, games and group activities
Quiet times for nap or resting
Nutritious meals
